This package will stay a one file download Than the human and elven ones, so a replacement is less necessary. When I am happy with their look, they will added in an update.Īlso worth mentioning: the original face textures of the beast races are higher resolution Beast Races - Even after making 2 versions I'm still not happy with the result.įor me they are also much harder to do than the human and elven races. You hate to download a bucketload of separate files

Replacement after this mod to combine them. Until then, nobody is stopping you from installing any body Whenever a body replacement gets released that I actually like more than Skyrim's originalīody I will add support for it. Once the CK is available the warpaint designs will be added next to the existing ones Not all of the warpaint has been used yet.

I don't mind this myself and at moment I can not guarantee it will ever get changed.ĭesigns by Gizmodian, I made them into usable textures and mixed them to create many The way I created the eyes changed the color as well, the effect depends on the originalĬolor. The seam worse, so in the end I left that part unedited.Īt a later time I may try again to get rid of it completely.

When making the new textures I edited the whole texture at first, this only made The neck part of both body and face textures is the same as the original textures. Actually it's the same seam as seen in the original game. Gets rid of angular shapes caused by compressed object space normal maps

Adds more detail to skin of faces and bodies XCE is a compilation of all my work on the enhancement of the characters in Skyrim. Read more information for additional info. What it does: Adds more detail to skin of faces and bodies, gets ride of angular shapes caused by compressed object space normal maps, adds a lot more detail to eyes, makes fingernails more visible, removes jagged edges of the lips. XCE is a compilation of all of Xenius' work on the enhancement of characters in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Is that even possible? Could it be something else? Is my best bet just a fresh install of SSE? Could there have been some residual issues left-over from previous mods? I am using NMM and as we all know it's not as good as MO (but alas no proper MO for SSE).Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Xenius Character Enhancement Mod v1.12 Not even sure why I'm getting this issue, it should work! It was working before! Not sure why cleaning those masters would cause this to happen. I know there are other character overhaul mods but I really like XCE's look so would prefer to keep it. So I fully uninstalled every other mod in NMM, redownloaded XCE, re-deleted the warpaint/dirt tintmaps and repackaged and reinstalled it just to be sure, and got the same issue again. Then re-installed a fresh mod-list I wanted to try and ran into the CTD issue explained above, pretty quickly had it narrowed down to XCE being the culprit. So I deleted all my esms and downloaded fresh ones with verify game cache in Steam (then made backups of those just in case), and cleaned the masters with 圎dit following this guide. However, I recently I uninstalled all of my other mods (as I'm overhauling my mod-list) and decided it would be best to clean my master files (as it's usually recommended by more experienced modders than me).

So that's what I did and it worked a treat first-time round with a fairly big mod-list when I hadn't cleaned the Update and DLC esms.

I had read that to get XCE to work in SSE all you had to do was delete the dirt and warpaint tintmaps from XCE then repackage and reinstall using NMM. To be clear, XCE was working fine until I cleaned those files in 圎dit. This doesn't occur when I don't have XCE installed. Whenever I go into the race menu and try to manipulate any of the sliders or change race from Nord to anything else, or change sex or whatever, then I CTD (oddly enough if I just hit 'Done' straight away and name my character that works fine but I imagine there will be problems further down the line - I didn't play enough after doing that to tell). Can't seem to get Xenius Character Enhancement to work in SSE after cleaning Update.esm, Dawnguard.esm, Hearthfires.esm, and Dragonborn.esm.
